Judy expresses her love of music in many ways. A singer-songwriter, she has recorded an album of original songs, “Chipping Away.” Songs from the album have been played on WXPN and WHYY. A composer-lyricist, she wrote and produced “Testament,” a musical revue based on Bible stories, which has been performed for a variety of Philadelphia audiences and communities.
She writes chants and rounds that celebrate spiritual connection. She choreographs polyrhythmic body percussion pieces, and creates songs that are accompanied by body percussion orchestrations. One song, “Share the Road,” has been covered by the group Acoustic Blender. She had the honor of participating as a lyricist in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop in New York City.
